Single and no date on Saturday night?

We could give you a million dating tips because, after all, we at BuzzBuzzHome aren’t just experts on new construction homes and real estate.

However, it turns out that dating and real estate intersect in more ways than you’d think. A recent survey of 1,000 single people found that more than a third of women and 18 per cent of men would rather date a homeowner than a renter.

Only 3 per cent of men said they would prefer dating a woman who rents while 2 per cent of women said they preferred men who rent.

The survey, conducted by Harris Interactive for the American real estate site Trulia, also found that both sexes much prefer when their date lives alone. Roommates are apparently a big turn-off! Read more
