Why would someone want to live on some lousy backstreet in the financial district when they could live 10 minutes away in St. Lawrence Market or some of the real downtown neighbourhoods of the city? </description>

		<description>Great post and kudos to our great cities for their contribution in making Canada the greatest country in the world to live in. I had a look at the 40 metrics used in the evaluation of the 140 countries that are part of the study. What would be great to know is the actual engagement or usage levels of many of the things being measured. Meaning that just because there is a high level of availability of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, sports venues, hotels, theatres, etc. what level does the population at large actually use them. This for me would be the real &quot;living&quot; component of an otherwise static measure.</description>
