Doubling Down: A second crane goes up at the Pinnacle on Adelaide job site

Posted on | buzzhomeblog Posted in DEVELOPMENTS, ONTARIO | 1 Comment

Because sometimes one crane isn’t enough, the construction crew working on Pinnacle on Adelaide have erected a second crane to help get the job done. Talk about doubling your efforts! Pinnacle International‘s 43 storey tower is currently under construction at Adelaide and John. The estimated time of completion is 2013, so we’re guessing this second crane is going to help them attain this lofty goal.

We blogged about the Walnut Studios Spring Renewal Art Show and Sale back in April and suggested that anyone suffering from “bare wall syndrome” mark the date down (Saturday, May 12) on their calendar. Did you forget to jot down the date? Is this your first time hearing about it? If your answer is yes to either question, worry not! We’re here to remind you why this event is well worth attending if you’re an art lover, local culture connoisseurs … Read More

Upper Unionville promises to improve the purchasing process with innovative new system

Posted on | buzzhomeblog Posted in DEVELOPMENTS, ONTARIO | 3 Comments

When it comes to areas for innovation in the real estate world, the purchasing process doesn’t immediately jump to mind as a compelling area to pursue. But when you think about it, there are a lot of reasons to pay more attention to the process. Often the success of a project is judged by how many people pack into the sales centre on opening day. This makes for great publicity and photo ops, but it’s not too enjoyable for the … Read More

Next kisses noisy neighbours goodbye with superior wood frame design

Posted on | buzzhomeblog Posted in ALBERTA, DEVELOPMENTS | Leave a comment

With so many hot projects popping up in Calgary lately, it’s hard to pick a favourite. But Next by Bucci Group is definitely charming us with its smart floor plans and affordable pricing. The four-storey wood frame development has two fitness rooms, a landscaped courtyard with stellar views, and a dog washing station. But don’t think that just because it’s a wood-frame building that you’ll be listening to noisy neighbours all the time.

End users are finding Local by Onni mighty appealing

Posted on | buzzhomeblog Posted in DEVELOPMENTS, ONTARIO | Leave a comment

A couple weeks back we wrote about Local at Fort York’s enviable location in the up-and-coming Fort York neighbourhood. It’s certainly a great spot with a ton of features that are being developed (pedestrian bridges; Loblaws; even an underground tunnel!). Although Local is in a location so nice you could say it thrice, this isn’t the only big draw that it’s boasting. Local is the third project in Onni‘s four phase master-planned community.

TAO Condos’ Traveling Condo Model has us scrambling for our smartphones

Posted on | buzzhomeblog Posted in DEVELOPMENTS, ONTARIO, TECH | 1 Comment

TAO Condos, the new Richmond Hill development by SigNature Communities, pushed the envelope when they brought on a Feng Shui master to advise them during the design process. The same envelope was given a second shove when TAO released their awesome interactive YouTube video that showed viewers the many versions of tranquility they could experience living there. It looks like TAO are envelope bullies, but we’re totally into it because they’re back pushing the envelope with their new “Traveling Condo … Read More

Every now and then a new development comes along and knocks our socks off with its standout design.
