    Dorothy Gambrell at Psychology Today analyzed Craigslist’s Missed Connections across America and created a map describing where the most blink-and-you’ll-miss-it love gaps occurred in every state.

    Like trains passing in the night, New Yorkers experienced the most Missed Connections on the subway, while Californians eyed one another longingly at 24-Hour Fitness. Apparently, food is the way to a person’s heart; several states boasted the most instant attractions at the supermarket, and the prime almost-pickup spot in Kansas was McDonald’s.
    Also, who knew that Walmart was such a happening place for prospective love birds?
