Miami Beach’s Faena House, the Lord Norman Foster-designed condo tower from Argentine fashion designer and developer Alan Faena, has just launched sales.
The 16-story, 47-unit oceanfront building will be located at 3201 Collins Avenue, next to the Faena Saxony Hotel when it is completed in 2014. The one- to five-bedroom homes start at $2.05 million for a 1,727-square-foot single-bedroom apartment. The airily styled units will feature ultra-modern kitchens, massive window walls and extensive balconies used like Brazilian verandas to connect the condo spaces, “perfecting indoor outdoor living.”
Faena House will be the first component of Faena District, a new neighborhood that will include the Faena Saxony Hotel, an arts and performance center designed by Rem Koolhaas / OMA, retail, dining, nightlife and a private dock.
Check out the renderings below, as well as some short videos detailing the design process. “Ethereal” was the design motto of the project, and we can’t wait to see the final results — those gorgeous alien/angel balustrades alone are worth the price of admission.
