Whoa! Talk about bragging rights… Future Northern Lights homeowners will live in the best summertime spot in the world

When choosing a location for their new Northern Lights project, SigNature Developments and Infinity Fine Homes knew that Muskoka is viewed as a unique, picturesque region and is widely regarded as Ontario’s go-to cottaging area in both the summer and winter months.

Now the developers can add “internationally recognized” to the list of accolades showered on Muskoka.

The beautiful region was named the best summer trip destination on the planet by National Geographic, coming in ahead of other popular summertime locations like the Azores in Portugal and Argentina’s Patagonia.

This, of course, is unsurprising. With 8,699 miles of shoreline, waterfalls, lakes, rocky hills and swaths of forest, Muskoka is as idyllic as it gets.

So it’s easy to see why SigNature Developments and Infinity Fine Homes chose Echo Valley in Huntsville, Muskoka as the location for Northern Lights.

The new 1,300 acre community, currently in its registration phase, promises to offer purchasers a tranquil, all season retreat surrounded by natural beauty.

Northern Lights is allowing purchasers to choose their own lots, which vary in size from 1.5 to 5 acres, and then pick an architect to help them customize their ideal four-season house. Purchasers also have the option to choose from one of the ten custom homes designed by the project’s own architect, The Ideal Environment.

It’s great that the developer is placing so much power in the hands of the purchaser to decide on the nature of their future Muskoka residence.

We also love the National Geographic selling point. Not many developers can say their new project is located in pretty much the best place in the world. That’s right, rest of the world, Muskoka’s number one!

There will be plenty more news and details to come as Northern Lights takes shape. Stay tuned to our blog and the development page to catch all the details as they emerge.
