When you’re thinking of up-and-coming areas in Toronto, there’s quite a few neighbourhoods that immediately spring to mind. It’s a ever-expanding list as the city rapidly grows.
Wilson Avenue, near Yorkdale Shopping Centre, is one of those neighbourhoods, and if it’s not jumping into your head right away, it should be.
One of the developers leading the charge to revitalize this midtown Toronto area is Brandy Lane Homes, with their new 388 unit development, The Station Condos.
The Station Condos will have the downtown look and amenities to boast about, but not the downtown price tag. And of course, downtown will only be moments away as the project is situated right next door to the Wilson subway station (hence the name The Station, get it?).
BuzzBuzzHome took a day trip to The Station Condos for a private tour of the model suite, designed by Terrence Lukas. The one bedroom + den suite has a modern look that is colourful and lively.
But don’t just take our word for it, take a look at the photos we shot with our nifty camera during the tour. Designer Terrence Lukas will even provide a little running commentary on some of these photos.

| For Lukas, the key word was approachable when designing. “I didn’t want anyone to feel that the decor was out of their reach,” he explained. |

The sign above speaks the truth! The folks behind The Station Condos averaged the prices of one bedroom suites at different downtown developments and found that their two bedroom, two bath suites were bigger and less expensive than the average one bedroom prices they surveyed. These suites are available for $399,900 for a limited time.
We should also mention that the development is already over 60 per cent sold out. Looks like midtown living is catching on…
