Eleven Superior, the elegant 9-storey condominium and townhouse project in the heart of Mimico-by-the-Lake, is hosting an awesome series of ‘Local Kitchen Parties’ throughout the summer for those involved – or just interested – in the project.
Thursday, June 2nd will be the first of three get-togethers at the Eleven Superior Presentation Centre located at 2398 Lake Shore Blvd. West, in Etobicoke. Each evening will combine a neighbourhood eatery showing off their finest hors d’oeuvres with some talented local musicians for a patented mix of fun and commingling. Plus, cold beers will be provided by the good folks at Great Lakes Brewery.

This Thursday will feature music by ‘See Spot Run’ and tasty treats served up by Café Du Lac (menu sneak preview: lemon tart with candied orange shavings; blini with smoked salmon and creme fraiche; goat cheese rolled in sesame and poppy seed topped with cranberry sauce; and venison meatballs with red pepper relish!). Admission is free, with a non-perishable food donation, which will be passed along to Daily Bread, a local non-profit. Capacity is limited, so interested parties are asked to send along a note to rsvp@elevensuperior.com.
The ‘Local Kitchen Party – Summer Series’ strikes us a clever way to engage the condominium project with the vibrant surrounding community as well as to introduce future neighbours to the area – and, of course, to each other. Should be a blast!
