They came to honour Mitchell Cohen, president of the Daniels Corp., for his contributions to building affordable housing in Toronto.
They stayed for dinner and dancing with Lenny Graf and the Platinum Swing Orchestra in the swanky ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel, as well as a live auction and raffle.
And, by the end of the evening, the 540 attendees at the St. George’s Society of Toronto’s annual Red Rose Ball last Thursday helped raise $620,000 for charity, including Cohen’s organization of choice, Habitat for Humanity.
