Toronto’s love affair with condominiums continued in the fourth quarter of 2009, helping developers end the year on a high note.
There were 14,792 condominium sales last year, up 2 per cent from 2008, according to figures released by market research firm Urbanation Inc. Friday.
The fourth quarter was especially strong with 6,295 sales, the third highest on record.
“Last year was a real rollercoaster ride,” Urbanation executive vice-president Ben Myers said in an interview.
