The Berczy (map) by Concert Properties has a cool name, but not as cool as the original “Five Corners” name, named after Toronto’s intersection with….. 5 corners!
Now, for those of you that don’t know, there is a park across the street named after William Berczy, the painter and pioneer (Wikipedia), which I can only assume is the reason for the new name.
The rendering to the left was just recently released, and is a nice image of how the building is supposed to look, and feel within the neighbourhood.
The intimacy of the St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood, yet just two blocks from Bay Street and the downtown core… this building is sure to be a winner. Literally head out your door to discover the best of Toronto.
