‘The Real World’? Throughout your university career, you are being prepared to enter the real world. But I would not exactly say there is a definitive description of what the real world entails. It is different for everyone. That being said, I have a good idea of what I want mine to include and where I am going to begin.
I’m Lindsay Brand…a recent graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business. I have just completed a degree in Honours of Business Administration, specializing in Finance. Now that school is finished, like most graduates, you wonder…what happens next?
My journey for a career begins. I have always been interested in the Real-Estate Industry. Growing up, my father was a developer so I was constantly submerged in the industry and always eager to learn more about it. Now that I am ready to begin my own career, I would like it to begin in Real-Estate. Real-Estate intrigues me. An ever-lasting industry, that is dynamic and always changing.
My journey begins this Thursday. I am prepping for an interview for a Real-Estate Analyst position. I will keep you posted. Wish me luck!
